Since I was a child growing up on our dry land farm in central Montana, looking at house plans and decorating ideas in magazines with my mother, has been one of my favorite things to do.  Of my most treasured memories, one is going to open houses with her.  Yes, we went just for fun. Another golden memory is riding the tractor or combine with my dad.  Gathering the eggs isn't so high on the list.   After graduating with a degree in English, with a minor in business and education, I married my high school boyfriend husband and ended up in retail sales.  However, I never lost my real estate cravings and, finally, in 1981, I started working for a developer in Big Sky, MT, manning the model unit and selling to-be-built condos.  After a couple of years, urged by my husband and mother, I got my Realtor's license, we moved to Bozeman and I've been a Realtor ever since.  What a great job!  I get to see all kinds of different homes and help all kinds of people  realize their dream of home ownership.  It's the best!  Now, over 20 years later, I still love it.  My husband  and I have two grown children, one fabulous grand daughter, a yellow lab and a "Sylvester" type cat.  We are the Realtor's nightmare, having been in the same home since 1986.   He likes to hunt and fish (imagine that) and I love to cook and have people in.  We were both born and raised in Montana and, thanks to the great people who have been moving here, really appreciate our good fortune and our parents' good judgment in raising us here.
